Fangel was made in Denmark during WWII when there was embargo. Those years were in fact good for the danish guitarmakers and some of them were able to keep the business going also after the war. Some of the Fangel instruments are dated but far from all. I have tried for long to figure out who made them, but no answer yet. The jazzguitars I have found in different versions suggesting that at least two different makers were involved. The style is close to Just Poulsen and Barslev, so maybe one or two of their students. They may have been made for the danish musicshop in Fangel in Copenhagen, but thats not sure. Anyway….they have a name : Fangel
I also have seen a flattop guitar and several mandolins. The instruments are made from rather simple materials, but the ones I have tried have a really good sound.
